Distributed Scheduling Systems on the Internet

For the last two decades, many interactive scheduling systems have been designed and developed for different scheduling applications. Due to the advent of information technology, scheduling systems with interactive, scaleable and reconfigurable support become one of the innovative approaches to tackle sophisticated scheduling problems. In this paper, first we describe the structure of an interactive scheduling system. Next we propose a new approach to design and develop an interactive distributed scheduling system for the Internet users. We conclude that the distributed internet scheduling system can improve the flexibility and accessibility to tackle large-scale scheduling applications in the last section.
